The RD exam will be held in the month of February every year. The date of exam is published on the IDA website at least 6 months in advance.
There will be two test papers –
Paper I (duration 2 hours) – Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry
Paper II (duration 2.5 hours) – Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management
Section A: Objective questions (50 marks)
Section B: Multiple choice (20 marks)
Section C: Clinical oriented questions (30 marks)
The candidate is required to obtain an aggregate of 50% for qualifying with a minimum of 45% in each paper.
